Zsolt PÁPAI
Zsolt PÁPAI is a film historian, and critic. He was born in Budapest. He received a degree in Hungarian literature and linguistics, and history at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest (ELTE).
He is an assistant lecturer at ELTE Department of Film Studies. His research field is the Hungarian cinema of the ‘30s-40’s, and Hollywood cinema of the sixties and seventies. In the last twenty years he conducted courses at numerous universities, including Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania (Cluj, Romania), University of Theatre and Film Arts, Budapest, Vitéz János Roman Catholic Teachers’ Training College, Esztergom, Pázmány Péter Roman Catholic University, Budapest, King Sigismund College, Budapest, Budapest Metropolitan University, and University of Szeged, Department of Film Studies. He is a contributor to the well-known Hungarian film journal called Filmvilág.
